Our Team
Operations and activities of the Association are carried out by a team of dedicated Executive Committee Members. The committee members are elected democratically by the members present in the Annual General Meeting of the Association. The Association currently has about 90 members.
The executive committee members at present are

President
Mr. Surmakh Singh Bains, after completing his Masters in Economics, moved to Australia in the year 1976. He has extensive experience in various walks of life which includes his tenure of 27 years with Australian Federal Police. He retired as a Team Leader for Dignitary and Protection Group, which is responsible for the Security and Protection of the Prime Minister of Australia and other world Dignitaries visiting Victoria. Mr. Bains now spends his retirement serving the community, and lends a valuable guidance and support to the Association.

Secretary
Mr Inderjit Singh Gill comes from a small village of Punjab. He settled in Australia, now residing in Melbourne from a very long time approximately 43-44 years. The Association benefits from the enormous experience he has in various fields like administration, immigration, health, religion and real estate. Now he is a retired person and engages himself in social work. A very helpful and friendly person, he also is an advisor to another organisation of seniors, Melton Indian Social Club in Victoria.

Treasurer
Om Sethi holds the position of Treasurer for the last about 5 years and brings with him his experience of more than 30 years in Banking, Technology and Accounting. Originally from Delhi, he migrated to Australia in the year 2009. He enjoys being among friends and helping people. He keeps himself updated with the latest happening in and around the community.

Joint Secretary
Roopa Raman has been living in Taylor’s Lakes, Melbourne for the past 18 years. She has been and also currently works as an English language teacher. Before coming to Australia she served as Vice Principal in a school in Dubai. She loves making her services available to build and expand the Association for the benefit and wellbeing of its members. She actively works for the Indian Seniors by taking part in cultural activities that enrich the lives of the members of Association.

Joint Treasurer
Mr Dalip Singh Graduated as Mechanical Engineer in 1977. He has more than 40 years of experience in the field of Production, Planning , IT, Business and Business management. Has been living in Melbourne for the last 30 years. Volunteered as a Books Sevadar, Treasurer and Auditor for a spiritual organisation in Melbourne. He is enjoying his retirement since 2014.
